North Canterbury's biggest and best sporting asset, MAINPOWER STADIUM, is set to open its doors in August 2021.
Everyone in our community will have the opportunity to use this fantastic facility, and in the lead up to the opening of MAINPOWER STADIUM we are offering businesses and individuals the opportunity to become foundation sponsors to create a legacy that will last for generations.

STADIUM FITNESS CENTRE
MainPower Stadium will include a modern and dynamic Fitness Centre set up for individuals, teams and group training. Watch out for PRAMA - a new and exciting way for people of all ages to develop skills and keep fit and active.
We'll be opening up memberships for the Stadium Fitness Centre in July, but if you can't wait, consider joining the Rangiora Fitness Centre NOW, as you'll have access to the Stadium Fitness Centre when it opens for no extra cost.

AN ASSET FOR ALL NORTH CANTERBURY
MAINPOWER STADIUM is a $28M multi-use sport and fitness facility located on Coldstream Road in Rangiora.
Built by the Waimakariri District Council it incorporates four full size sports courts, a community fitness centre, group fitness studios, juice/coffee hub, sports health provider treatment rooms, a sports administration house and multi-function meeting rooms.
The sports courts will be set up to provide for a wide range of sports codes and includes seating for up to 500 spectators to allow for major sporting events.
The North Canterbury Sport & Recreation Trust has been appointed to operate MAINPOWER STADIUM when it opens in mid 2021. This modern facility will help the Trust to continue building on its achievements over the past 35 years in promoting sport and recreation for everyone in our community.
